Stanley Evans

Stanley J. Evans is the Co-founder of BBB(circa 2009). Educating and preparing young boys for their future has always been his calling from God and his passion in life. Stanley has been an educator and a mentor for over 30 years with the Department of Education, the N.Y Juvenile Justice System and The New York Urban Debate League. He has taken on many educational roles including the an English Literature Instructor, Administrator and a Championship Debate coach and judge. After retiring from the D.O.E, Stanley co founded Brothers Building Bridges, formally known as the Bridge Street Mentors.

Keith Bennett

Keith Bennett has worked for the Department of Education for over 35 years and has been married for over 30 years. During his 35 years working for the DOE, he has worked as a Physical Education Teacher and School Counselor. For most of those years he has coached and  refereed boys high school basketball. Although he has a great love for sports and specifically basketball, his passion for mentoring young men of color has given him the most joy. He started a male youth mentoring group with several of his male colleagues in 1997. Since then for the past 23 years he has participated in a mentoring program. In 2010, a church brother and himself started a mentoring group in an elementary school in Bedford Stuyvesant. For the past 10 years he has provided guidance and leadership to over 250 young men.

TONEY LEE

Toney Lee is the CEO of T.S.R.I. Music Ministry Media LLC. He has been apart of the Y.M.C mentoring program, and the Brothers Building Bridges mentoring program for the past 6 years. Toney was brought into the organization by long standing member Brother Greg Jones. Toney loves working with the organization and looks forward to the continued growth and development.

Greg E. Jones, Sr.

Mr. Greg E. Jones, Sr. is a Brooklyn native and a homeowner along with his loving wife Jacquelyn in the Rosedale section of Queens.  A graduate of Lincoln University (Pa.) he has worked in the financial services industry with Primerica Financial Services for nearly 30 years.  Greg currently holds a life & health license as well as an investment license (Series 6 & 63).  He has produced millions of dollars of life insurance face amount in force along with millions of dollars of assets under management. Working with his team they have been able to help many families get out of debt, secure their incomes along with providing the vehicles to fund college education and retirement.

Greg has had a lifetime of interest in the development and the progress of young Black men going all the way back to his youth. He grew up as a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church during his formative years. He then became a member of the Bridge Street AWME Church in 1988.  He has participated in male mentoring organizations such as the Teen Male Organization (TMO) along with the Young Men Of Character at CS 21 and periodically at the Eagle Academy.  Greg has worked as a Direct Sales Representative for Cablevision, a Sports Writer for New York Newsday and as an Index Supervisor at Matthew Bender & Company.
